Join a well-funded hardware startup in Silicon Valley as a Python CAD developer. This role involves reimagining silicon and creating transformative computing platforms. You will collaborate with talented engineers on high-performance, energy-efficient, and scalable designs in a creative and flexible environment. As a Python CAD developer focused on RTL design methodology and support, you will work with architecture, design, software, and verification leads to develop critical product development technology, contributing from conception to final creation. Responsibilities include developing next-generation flows and utilities for silicon designs, collaborating with design and validation leads to define new functionality for automation and tooling, and implementing infrastructure, tool flows, and environments to accelerate design and development.
Must have:
- Scripting proficiency in Python
- Experience with Python package maintenance
- Experience in digital design
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to work well in a team
- Productive under aggressive schedules

As a Python CAD developer focusing on the methodology and support of RTL design, you will work with architecture, design, software and verification leads to develop technology critical to the development of our products. You will be involved from conception to final creation and every step along the way.
Responsibilities
- Work with other CAD engineers to develop the next generation of flows and utilities supporting upcoming silicon designs.
- Collaborate with design and validation leads to determine new functionality to support current or future designs which could benefit from automation and tooling
- Define and implement new infrastructure capabilities, tool flows, and environments that can be used to accelerate design and development
Requirements
- Scripting proficiency in Python
- Experience with Python package maintenance, release cycles, and continuous integration and delivery
- Experience in digital design
- Excellent skills in problem solving, written and verbal communication, excellent organization skills, and highly self-motivated
- Ability to work well in a team and be productive under aggressive schedules
- 3-6 yrs of experience
Education and Experience
- PhD, Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in technical subject area.
