Mission of the Position
To run and drive the West India Region spanning 5 states for the Corporate Business Unit of Zones India. Grow, Sustain the West India revenue and enhance our brand and reputation in the region by Maximizing Customer Satisfaction. This may be accomplished by performing but not limited to the following tasks: Building and Creating a High-Performance Culture of beating and exceeding customer expectations and ZIND Business Goals with the help of an aware, agile, articulate and accomplished team of Sellers, customer relationship management, meeting sales targets set by the management, guiding team on various sales activities and other customer service related functions.
Results to be achieved
Increase volume of business by adding new customers, meeting over all regional sales targets set by the management, business development, making sure all the team members are meeting their sales targets in line with company’s expectation and ensure delivery of Zones vision and values in providing five-star services to the customers. Managing the right portfolio of technology solutions to include Advanced Technology and as well as Services, Deliver on Gross Margin Targets and ensure Collections are done within the target due dates keeping DSOs to the bare minimum.
Strategies
Maintain communication channels with Customer’s Purchasing Operations, and in house resources for Purchasing & Merchandising to ensure that all of the customer’s needs are fulfilled in a timely manner in line with defined SLA parameters. Introducing new strategies regarding business development to ensure new customer additions, increasing SOW in existing accounts and motivating the team.
Spotting and finding new use cases and solutions for your customers within the Zones portfolio of Technology Products, Software and Services stack.
Profile
- Proven track record of exemplary sales execution and business development for ICT products, services and software solutions.
- Should have experience in direct selling – solutions, software, cloud, projects (into Enterprise and Mid-Market segments).
- Leading and managing a high-performance team (SOC > 6) across multiple offices (3+)
- Actively participate in new sales activities. Tactically assess resources to meet the assigned sales targets.
- Weekly review of assigned accounts and team members.
- Regularly assess the skill set of resources and identify gaps, if any
- Should be able to formulate strategies to meet monthly/quarterly/ Annual sales targets with the desired margins.
- Ability to establish & maintain working relationships with OEM principals, Vendors & Suppliers.
- Creating weekly sales dashboards and reports
- Make sure all communication with the clients / customers / prospects / partners is in strict accordance with the contract terms & very professional.
- Must have hired sellers, managers in previous assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Master’s in business administration from a reputed institute in related field. BE Tech – Not Essential; Expert in Sales Forecasting, CRM and Pipeline management.

- Minimum of 15 years of successful sales experience in IT products services, software and solutions.
- Excellence in sales and marketing with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
- Dynamic, aggressive, result oriented and self-starter.
- Ability to lead, influence, persuade and manage change.
- Interpersonal skills of the highest order.
- Self – Aware and Mature.
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task.

- Should be able to drive the team to achieve the goals
- Open to extensive travelling across region / country if the need arises
- Should be able to drive the growth overall for the region and all the team members
