This role requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D rendering software, and excellent communication skills. You'll manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain brand consistency.

Job Description

The Retail Store Designer will be responsible for developing and producing a variety of 2D and 3D consumer and retail marketing materials for application in Retail Spaces and across our Media Channels. Working with Trek Retail Store Designers, Visual Merchandisers, Marketing, Retail Marketing, and Product Managers to develop strong visual themes and represent the Trek brand identity in space, you will be involved in all phases of the design process from conceptual development through artwork production.

Environment Development: (30%)

Collaborate with internal design, marketing, and product teams to develop and produce solutions for retail environmental and graphic design needs. Work within a team to understand concepts and develop 2D and 3D retail solutions for products and marketing to enhance the customer-focused experience. Maintain relationships with key internal clients to produce consistent solutions that meet the budget, space, and brand goals at retail.

3D rendering: (30%)

Develop 3D models and renders based on the Environment Development to support the sign-off process from our Internal Key Stakeholders.

Miscellaneous Production: (30%)

Develop and produce web-ready assets for websites. Deliver web assets using the required specifications. Produce and deliver print-ready documents for various forms of media. Examples include: creating a brand layout for new store websites, applying appropriate logo treatment to custom jerseys, etc.

Quality Assurance: (10%)

Ensure the document deliverables for all 2D and 3D elements are executable and clearly communicated to guarantee they are accurately fabricated and installed. Develop and maintain processes to ensure oversight of the fabrication and installation. Identify opportunities for improvement in the process and deliverables. 

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in Graphic Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a creative team working with visual design or content creation, preferably as it applies to brand and product marketing, along with a portfolio of relevant work.
  • Has a good knowledge of corporate branding and digital media.
  • A general understanding of printing methods & techniques.
  • Must be comfortable working independently to execute projects.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on projects, as well as organize and self-manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly grasp project parameters, brand standards, and templates while being sensitive to established creative integrity.
  • Experience in graphic design applications including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D render software (Arnold; Autodesk; Alias; 3DS Max; Maya; Sketchup; etc) as well as Acrobat.
  • General Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
