Job Description

The Senior Account Strategist role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on driving business growth for Chinese clients. Responsibilities include developing customer relationships, motivating product adoption, achieving sales goals, and improving customer experience for agencies and advertisers. This role requires fluency in English and Mandarin, a consultative approach, and strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in digital advertising or related fields, along with 2+ years of experience managing Chinese enterprise clients. The position involves collaborating with Executive Account Strategists to optimize advertising investment returns and contribute to overall team success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Must have:

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
Good to have:
  • Experience in tech, advertising, media
  • Google Ads knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative business, digital media business, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing.
  • 2 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients, agencies, or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business within the technology, advertising, media or internet environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Ability to grow and work in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Chinese customer’s business by motivating scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement ways to improve our agency and customer relationships and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Carry business growth and productivity goals, and motivate in-quarter business growth and product adoptions.
  • Provide advice and help our advertisers get the best investment return on their advertising by working in a consultative role with Executive Account Strategist.
