Job Description

The Senior Industry Manager, Telco, Security at Google will partner with global advertisers and agencies in the Telco and Security sectors. Responsibilities include building and managing relationships with C-level clients, understanding their business challenges, and developing joint strategies to drive client success. This role requires developing data-driven analyses, presenting Google advertising solutions, and achieving growth goals for both the client and Google. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for managing client relationships in the designated region. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, or business development.
Must have:
  • 8+ years in digital advertising/sales/marketing

  • Business planning & sales strategy development
  • Fluent English & Spanish
  • C-level relationship building

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Experience in business planning and developing sales strategies.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in performance marketing with knowledge of full funnel marketing.
  • Understanding of Audiovisual Ecosystem.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, and ability to collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

As an Industry Manager, you will partner with global advertisers and their agencies to identify their business challenges and collaboratively support solutions that build their success.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve growth goals for both the customer and Google, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet marketing objectives.
