As a Senior PBCS Consultant, you'll work with financial and accounting users to implement Oracle PBCS applications. Responsibilities include systems analysis, design, building planning applications (including business rules and data loading), advising clients on best practices, and making technical changes to applications. You'll need strong technical skills in Hyperion Planning, Essbase cube building, data management, and Groovy scripting. Experience with EPM Automator and ASO cubes is essential. The role involves participating in end-to-end implementation projects and providing ongoing support and improvement.
Must have:
  • 6-10 years relevant EPM implementation experience
  • 4+ years PBCS/EPBCS implementation experience
  • Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Data Management expertise
  • Groovy scripting expertise
  • EPM Automator, ASO cubes knowledge
  • Financial Accounting, Planning, Reporting understanding
Good to have:
  • Oracle PBCS certification
  • Experience with other Oracle EPM Cloud modules (FCCS, ARCS, TRCS)
  • Project management experience

Job Description

Position Overview
Will interact with business users within the financial and accounting areas and implement Oracle PBCS (Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) applications based on Oracle Hyperion Planning that supports enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a cloud-based deployment model. PBCS provides a rich Web and Microsoft Office-enabled planning and modeling framework that supports driver-based planning to help connect operational assumptions to financial outcomes. The application supports a hierarchical planning process that encompasses both corporate finance and the lines of business within an enterprise. With PBCS, organizations can meet immediate financial planning, budgeting and forecasting needs while enabling a platform for future cross-functional expansion and automated process integration.

Essential Job Functions
* Participate in all aspects of consulting, systems analysis, and detailed system design.
* Prepare detailed technical specifications from which moderate to complex applications will be built and configured.
* Participate in building planning applications, including the build and configuration of business rules and loading data to set up the planning scenarios.
* Advise client on best practices in planning and building planning applications for business rules, loading data to set up planning scenarios.
* Participate in systems analysis and design, including identifying and documenting the planning process and functional specifications for building planning and budgeting applications
* Consult and advise clients on building rules and making technical changes to applications in the planning processes.

Qualifications

Required:
* 6-10 yrs. relevant experience implementing one or more EPM technologies
* 4+ yrs. relevant experience in implementing Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS) or any other EPM module
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
* Good understanding of Financial Accounting, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting concepts.
* Should have a technical background with hands-on experience in Hyperion Planning, Essbase cube build using PBCS, and data management to build metadata and data load.

*Should have done  at least 3  end to end implementation Projects
* Extensive experience developing the PBCS calculation scripts in /building load rules, data management, metadata build, and identity manager. Groovy Expertise is a must.
* Good understanding of EPM Automator and ASO cubes. Data management expertise is a must.
* Can leverage best practices from previous architecture and implementation experience and work on constant support and continuous improvement Skills (Mandatory) in the Hyperion application environment.
* Identify & implement process improvements to support more efficient financial analysis.

Preferred:
* Oracle certification in PBCS and willingness to get certification in the next 6 months.
* Strong functional knowledge of financial systems, processes, and Financial reporting practices
* Experience with implementing more than one Oracle EPM Cloud module (FCCS, ARCS, TRCS).
* Proven skills as a team member, team lead, or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation
* Ability to collaborate with clients
