Student Assistant – Financial, Planning & Analysis

Are you a numbers enthusiast with an eye for detail? Do you thrive in a dynamic and creative environment? If so, you could be our new Student Assistant to join our Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. 

This role is ideal for a Master’s student in Finance, Economics, or a related field who wants to apply their academic knowledge in a dynamic, creative, and collaborative environment.  

About the role 

As a Student Assistant, you will support our FP&A specialists and work directly with our CFO to deliver insights into current and future business activities. Your contributions will help shape decision-making across our five studios. 

We are looking for a student who is on their master’s degree for a student position with the aim that it will lead to a full-time role after graduation. This is an opportunity to apply your studies in a cool, friendly, and innovative workplace that values creativity and collaboration. 

Based in Copenhagen, you’ll join our Finance team, working closely with talented colleagues across our five studios in Copenhagen, Barcelona, Brighton, Malmö, and Istanbul. Together, we create games enjoyed by millions worldwide. 

What you will do 

• Assist the FP&A team with various tasks such as  

• Management reporting 

• Cash flow forecasting  

• Risk assessments and what-if analysis 

• Participate in the developing and updating management reports for our various projects. 

• Compare actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identify discrepancies, and summarize findings for senior FP&A team members. 

• Conduct business case analysis for new and ongoing activities. 

• Support ad hoc finance-related tasks as needed. 

Who You Are 

• Currently in the Master’s program in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 

• You are dedicated to deliver high-quality results and eager to learn. 

• Have a solid understanding of accounting principles. 

• Interested in applying new technologies to enhance automation of finance processes and tasks.  

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. 

• Proficient in English (our company language). 

• Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.  

• An interest in gaming (and gaming industry) is a plus, but not required, curiosity about our industry is always welcome.
