Scopely is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its LiveOps Automation team. The role involves driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for scalable LiveOps systems, partnering with various teams to identify product opportunities, and defining product KPIs. The candidate will own major feature releases from conception to launch, create proposals for new features, and manage risks and opportunities in released features. This position requires extensive experience in product management, focusing on data-informed decisions, delivering impactful products from inception, and working on large-scale, KPI-driven products. Strong leadership, influence, and collaboration skills are essential, along with experience in Machine Learning products and creating clear PRDs. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, challenge the status quo, and have a profound knowledge of development cycles and roadmapping.

Scopely is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our LiveOps Automation team within our Midcore division on a hybrid/remote basis.

You’ll be joining the LiveOps Automation team at Scopely, where we are shaping the next generation of game operations tools that utilize Machine Learning and AI to empower scalability, personalization, and efficiency through data-driven systems. Our mission is to unlock smarter, faster, and more impactful ways for game teams to manage LiveOps strategies. This role is pivotal in helping to define the future of Scopely’s game operations.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for scalable LiveOps systems used across multiple games and teams
  • Partner cross-functionally with game teams, central tech, data science, and operations to define high-leverage product opportunities
  • Define and monitor product KPIs across games to continuously improve platform adoption, campaign effectiveness, and operational efficiency
  • Make the best product and design decisions through data, user behavior, academic research, and industry best practices   
  • Own major feature release from conceptualization to feature launch and long-term feature maintenance, collaborating with all related subject matter experts   
  • Create compelling proposals for new features and capabilities for game and tech teams to utilize
  • Address risks and leverage opportunities in newly released features and existing features

  • Experience working on large-scale products in highly KPI driven environments
  • Demonstrated ability to define long-term product strategy and deliver tangible business outcomes
  • Effective collaborators & multipliers to leverage and engage the team to bring the best work and product outcomes  
  • Strong leadership and influence skills; capable of aligning diverse stakeholders around a common vision
  • Experience working with Machine Learning products
  • Excellent ability to create clear and thought-through PRDs. Proficient in problem identification and root cause analysis
  • Default to challenge the status quo and push the boundary of best-known methods
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and resourceful   
  • Profound knowledge of development cycles and roadmaping   
  • You love games!
