Job Description

Tesla seeks a Software Applications Engineer to enhance its global Workforce Management (Time & Attendance) application. Responsibilities include system configurations, deployments, and updates; collaborating with HR and Payroll on enhancements and feature delivery; providing timely support and issue resolution; working on ongoing projects and upgrades (pay rules, scheduling, leave setups); training users; conducting policy audits; and improving processes through automation. The role requires experience with Kronos/UKG, SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar systems, along with SQL and data analysis skills. The focus is on EMEA markets.

Must have:

3+ years Kronos/UKG/SAP/SuccessFactors experience
Timekeeping, Leave, Payroll systems expertise
SQL, data analysis, troubleshooting skills
System configuration, deployment, and updates
Collaboration with HR and Payroll teams

Good to have:

WIM integration experience
Experience with EMEA markets

We are seeking a Software Applications Engineer to work on internal Time & Attendance, Workforce Management application and automation tools for growing business needs. You will focus on building enhancements for global markets, focusing on EMEA and work with Applications engineering team on system enhancements, configurations, and integrations.

What You’ll Do

Work on internal Time & Attendance system configurations, deployments and updates, with the global applications team
Review regional Payroll/ HR/ Operations needs and partner with key stakeholders on system enhancements, features delivery
Review common issues and questions and provide timely support. Provide timely resolution in conjunction with Help Desk/ Answer Bar
Work closely with Systems Manager/ applications team and end users on On-going projects and upgrades including new pay rule configurations, scheduling, leave setups, attendance policies.
Perform system enhancements/ updates and new system rollouts.
Train Payroll/ HR/ Users on the usage of system tools and address common reporting needs and gaps.
Work with HR teams on policy audits, change management for system updates.
Experienced with business process reviews, documentation and improvements through automation, system enhancements.
Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

Min. 3 years of Kronos/ UKG, SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday or similar systems experience with reporting, configuration, and administration of the system.
College degree with BS in computer science or related field is required.
Advance knowledge of Timekeeping, Leave, and payroll systems and various workforce modules including Timekeeping, Leave & Accruals, Pay codes/ Pay rules setup, PCDs is required.
Experience with SQL, query tools, data connectors, orchestration, analyze and troubleshoot data related issues.
Building and supporting, deploying integrations through WIM a big plus
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with various levels of global end users
