Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience with U.S. GAAP accounting principles ASC 842 (Lease Accounting) or ASC 606 (Revenue Accounting) in a public accounting or multi-national company setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or MSA.
- Experience managing project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation.
- Experience with spreadsheet technology.
- Ability to propose next steps and roadblock solutions and anticipate questions and challenges, manage time, and follow work plans.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams, with excellent collaboration, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate with senior management.

You'll lead an accounting process from end-to-end. Other responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and P&L accounts, and providing supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead in review and approval of new Cloud product initiatives, ensuring appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606.
- Manage customer agreement review, documentation and recognition in accordance with Revenue Recognition and Lease Accounting standards (ASC 606 and ASC 842).
- Provide accounting insights to Sales, Product, Pricing and Finance teams to influence optimal agreements, SKU creation, and accurate and timely forecasting.
- Lead initiatives to drive consistent scalable accounting processes, implement and maintain controls and procedures and lead efforts to improve process design, leveraging automation where possible.
- Create and implement scalable and repeatable processes to ensure accurate and timely business recognition for service offerings.
