We are currently seeking a Sr. Financial Writer for a 12-month contract (with potential for extension) with a Fortune 500 global financial services client in downtown Los Angeles. This is an on-site role requiring 3 days a week in the office (Tues – Thurs). The team thrives on open communication, accountability, and collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial writer to join a dynamic team, where you will be responsible for creating compelling, accurate, and SEO-optimized content across a range of channels, including print, digital, email, presentations, and reports. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive content strategy and support the client’s goals, all while ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. Apply by December 7, 2024, to be considered for this opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and compliance of content with brand guidelines, style guides, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage databases and on-site research libraries to understand the target audience.
  • Revise and repurpose existing content to ensure consistency and freshness.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, business, and design teams to develop integrated communication strategies.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather insights and ensure content accuracy.
  • Provide creative input and strategic recommendations to enhance content effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee content production processes, including editing, proofing, and distribution.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in financial writing and content strategy.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and investment principles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content management systems and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

    Note: To qualify for our benefits package, candidates must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must last a minimum of 10 weeks.
