Goliath is seeking a Senior Video Asset Manager to oversee the end-to-end development of marketing assets, from concept to production. This role involves managing a large portfolio of video and image assets (TV commercials, product sizzles, how-to videos, etc.), leading a team of video editors and graphic designers, and collaborating with various departments. Responsibilities include managing budgets, timelines, and external partners, optimizing assets for online distribution, and contributing to long-term creative strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and the toy industry.

We are looking for a Senior Video Asset Manager with a unique mix of vision, leadership, and operational expertise. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development of our marketing assets, from concept through production, ensuring creative excellence and efficiency across all projects. If you have a passion for storytelling through video and image, an eye for detail, and the ability to lead and inspire a creative team, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation and timely delivery of all consumer-facing marketing assets, including TV commercials, product sizzles, how-to videos, digital video assets, and lifestyle photography, ensuring they meet quality standards and stay within budget.
  • Manage a large portfolio: 10+ commercials, 10+ sell-in sizzles, and 25-50 how-to videos.
  • Collaborate with Brand Management, Art Direction, Product Design, and Sales to align on creative briefs and project specifications.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of video editors and graphic designers to produce high-quality assets with quick turnaround times.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, keeping senior management regularly updated.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external studios, freelancers, and vendors, optimizing creative quality and budget efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with external partners, ensuring cost-effective quality.
  • Ensure all assets meet top industry standards, with a focus on engaging a global audience in the toy sector.
  • Optimize creative assets for online distribution, considering the latest digital marketing algorithms and trends.
  • Oversee the asset lifecycle, from concept to final production, ensuring brand and marketing strategy alignment.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term creative strategies and asset roadmaps, identifying future trends and creative opportunities.
  • Direct on-set production, talent selection, and manage photography and infographic assets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in creative direction, particularly in video and digital assets for consumer brands.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing creative teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in managing external partners, including contract negotiation and budget optimization.
  • Understanding of digital marketing trends and how to optimize assets for online channels.
  • Ability to innovate and adapt to new media, design, and technology trends.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

This role will include working from our Guildford office regularly, so it is important that the successful candidate is within commutable distance and able to attend the office at least twice a week. There will also be occasional travel to our head office located in Hattem, The Netherlands.
