Standards Analyst

We are seeking an experienced professional in the role of Standards Analyst. The individual who will be successful in this role will have experience analyzing and communicating complex requirements across technical domains such as AI, privacy, and cybersecurity. They will be responsible for looking across multiple regulatory regimes globally to determine patterns and trends that will help guide our GRC strategy in external standards engagement. They will also develop relationships with internal stakeholders to integrate internal requirements (both policy and technical engineering requirements) into the strategic analyses. 

• Track and analyze policy-, industry-, and regulatory-related issues to help develop and execute on Microsoft’s GRC standards strategy. 

• Manage the implementation of Microsoft's GRC standards strategic initiatives by collaborating with company business/engineering stakeholders and external stakeholders (e.g., government policymakers) in a multi-cultural environement; prepare and provide materials (written and visual communications) for both. 

• Contribute to and/or implement creative solutions for advancing Microsoft GRC standards strategy, while managing risks and consequences.  

• Lead, coordinate, and gain buy-in for intra-group and/or cross-group projects and holds others accountable by leveraging project management approaches. 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the engineering teams, to understand and align objectives, priorities, and resources around GRC standards strategy.
