About the role
We are currently expanding our business globally. Since we are now listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime marke, we have received increased interest from institutional investors and individual investors. We have also executed M&A transactions in the past, both domestically and internationally. In this environment, we are seeking motivated individuals to design and execute financial corporate, investor relations (IR), and M&A strategies to further enhance our corporate value.
Responsibilities
Formulating and implementing financial and corporate strategies
- Handling financial and accounting tasks for the Japanese subsidiary (supporting the accounting department)
- Corporate governance-related duties
- Communicating with auditing firms, tax accountants, lawyers, banks, and other external experts
- Organizing shareholder meetings
- Other financial IR tasks required as a listed company
Planning and executing IR strategies
- Creating statutory disclosure documents and materials for investors
- Conducting IR-related activities and communicating with securities firms and investors
Planning and executing M&A and business partnership strategies
- Sourcing and building relationships with potential companies
About you
[Must-haves]
- At least three years of experience in the finance/accounting/IR department of a business company, auditing firm, accounting firm, bank, securities firm, or related field
- Basic accounting knowledge
[Preferred]
- Business-level English proficiency
- Certified public accountant (CPA), US Certified Public Accountant (USCPA), or a minimum of Nissho Bookkeeping Level 2 certification
