Job Description

As an Account Manager on the Emerging Business team, you will develop and manage relationships directly with key advertisers in Japan. You will be an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google. You will grow existing business, develop and win new business with key global and domestic clients, and support your team with account and market knowledge and other collateral. You will provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers, identify, and solve client problems proactively and creatively. You will learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results. You will optimize Google ads in order to maximize results for advertisers. You will leverage resources, including optimization, marketing, and technical support. You will identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in online ad sales, business-development, marketing, or consulting sales
  • Experience in Google Ads account management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in online ad sales, business-development, marketing, or consulting sales.
  • Experience in Google Ads account management.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
