Job Description

This Strategy and Operations Associate role at Google Cloud focuses on driving operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. Responsibilities include defining and executing key strategic priorities, contributing to planning and goal setting, territory design, expansion plans, and managing the rhythm of business activities. The role requires providing business insights, ensuring cross-functional alignment, driving strategic partnerships, and executing new initiatives. The successful candidate will influence executive-level decision-making through data-driven insights, advise leadership on business challenges, improve operations by launching programs and streamlining processes, and organize the implementation of effective business cadences. Experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, or Management Consulting is essential.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years Go-to-Market, Sales Ops, or related experience
Experience managing business rhythms (planning, reviews, target setting)
Fluent English communication
Data-driven insights and decision-making
Cross-functional collaboration and influence

Good to have:

MBA or advanced degree
Stakeholder management
Analytical skills (financial modeling, SQL, Looker)
Cloud technology knowledge
Compelling reporting and presentation skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management
Experience managing rhythm of business activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting.
Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires communication with US and Canada based partners in English.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
Experience with stakeholder management and generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
Experience leveraging analytical skills (e.g. financial modeling, spreadsheet software, SQL, Looker, etc.) to problem solve, influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive operational excellence, successful delivery of priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management.
Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reporting and presentations by audience, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies.
Knowledge of enterprise customers and cloud technologies, products and market landscape.

Responsibilities

Influence executive-level decision-making around core business decisions, such as prioritization of growth opportunities, through scalable and actionable analytical insights to increase productivity.
Be a trusted advisor to your organization and their leadership team, communicating, structuring, and problem solving ambiguous business challenges and supporting organization priorities.
Run and improve operations by launching new programs, target setting, streamlining processes, automating tasks, identifying opportunities across the business, and optimizing resource allocation.
Organize the design and implementation of business cadence to deliver effective operations and achieve key milestones.
