The VP of Marketing & Communications will develop and execute a strategic marketing and communications vision roadmap that drives growth and will help the company to meet its business objectives.

 

This role will develop marketing programs to accelerate customer acquisition while upselling and cross selling to our existing customer base. Additionally, they will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and category leadership by creating compelling content that communicates our value proposition and differentiates Sinch. The VP of Marketing & Communications will also be responsible for leading a small team of marketing professionals with plans to grow this team over time. 

 

As a member of the APAC Leadership team, the successful candidate should have experience working in high growth companies, thrive in environments of change and have integrated multiple brands following acquisition. A track record of developing new market entry strategies is a must.

 

The VP of Marketing & Communications role can be based in Singapore or Melbourne, Australia.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for the APAC region, aligned with regional priorities. Provide strategic counsel to EVP APAC on all communication matters, including crisis management.
  • Lead, manage and execute external communication efforts, including media & analyst relations, press releases, and public statements. Develop key messaging and ensure consistent and positive brand messaging across all external communication channels. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and industry influencers to enhance the company’s brand and reputation in the APAC region.
  • Create brand assets and content that tell Sinch's story and position the company as a trusted CPaaS leader.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that promote employee engagement and support organisational goals. 
  • Develop, manage and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and execute integrated campaigns to meet and exceed the company's business objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth for the company.
  • Establish go-to-market plans and materials for specific products and solutions that engage our target audiences and accelerate opportunities in current and future markets.
  • Determine, analyse and share KPIs related to marketing impact and performance, including reporting against forecasted results on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with global and regional cross functional teams to ensure cohesive communication & marketing strategies and alignment to global priorities. 
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of marketing professionals across APAC, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Manage the regional marketing budget efficiently ensuring strong ROI.
  • Contribute as an active member of the leadership team generating and developing ideas to drive growth, increase customer value and enrich the company culture.
