As an Account Executive - Commerce & Revenue Cloud, you'll engage with existing and new customers to sell the entire Commerce Cloud solution. You'll build relationships with team members and decision-makers, helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments. Responsibilities include developing opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting, closing opportunities at assigned accounts, driving sales at new accounts, acquiring new logos, speaking to business offerings, managing a high volume of accounts, and selling to C-level executives. The role involves working within a fast-paced team with personalized training and career opportunities, exposure to various internal teams and business units, and the chance to contribute to a high-performing area of the business.
Must have:
  • Proven track record of selling to C-level executives (ideally in technology)
  • 5-7+ years of quota-carrying software/technology/business sales experience
  • Experience in e-commerce preferred
  • German and English language proficiency
  • Ability to develop opportunities and close deals
  • Account management skills

Our CC team is part of our wider sales team, focusing on selling into the Commerce industry. The Commerce space is particularly exciting at the moment as there are multiple industry game-changers entering the market. The barrier for entry is high, and the customers you will work with are highly intelligent and self motivated.

Day to Day

Our Account Executives engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Commerce Cloud solution. They build positive, trusted relationships with both essential team members and decision makers within their patch, and become naturals at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.

  • You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.

  • Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts

  • Drive sales within assigned segment

  • Acquire new logos within assigned territory

  • Speak to business offerings as they relate to the customer’s needs and engage other resources as required

  • Manage high volume of accounts and sales

Your Qualifications

  • You should have a proven track record of selling to C-level executives, ideally within the technology sector.

  • Previous experience within e-commerce is preferred. 

  • Additionally, you should possess 5 to 7+ years of experience in quota-carrying software, technology, or business sales, account management

  • German and English language required
