Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on large retail clients in the BeNeLux region. Responsibilities include meeting quarterly business and product growth targets, managing a portfolio of complex accounts, understanding growth drivers, and developing multi-quarter plans. The role requires pitching and consulting with clients, managing marketing discussions and budgets, building a robust sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Successful candidates will possess strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, alongside experience in advertising, sales, or marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding quotas and driving customer growth.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent English communication
  • Deliver against quarterly growth targets
  • Manage large, complex client accounts
  • Consult and pitch to clients

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or a marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, ability to manage digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance and brand marketing.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilise storytelling as a client engagement strategy, while demonstrating thought leadership within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context to overachieve quotas to drive growth while strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, while developing action plans though tactical thinking.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth targets, while driving customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Own a portfolio of large complex businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying constant opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support marketing discussions and budgets, alongside developing and maintaining a robust pipeline that helps you manage your business and maximize impact.
  • Partner with fellow team members and cross-functional partners to drive business opportunities that build long-term growth.
  • Execute stakeholder management plans internally and externally, establishing and maintaining relationships with end customers.
