You as part of tonies:
As the Financial Analyst CFO Office you will work in the team supporting the CFO of tonies. You will provide critical insights and analysis to support the Chief Financial Officer in making informed business decisions. This includes drafting corresponding presentation materials to senior stakeholders and supporting top priority projects. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive professional with a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • You are a member of the CFO Office, reporting to the Director CFO Office & Performance Management and supporting the daily business of the CFO (ad-hoc requests, review of proposals, preparation of meetings etc.).
  • You will assist the CFO and Director of CFO Office & Performance Management in developing and implementing long-term, strategic Finance roadmap
  • You will be asked to provide ad-hoc support for special projects and initiatives as requested by the CFO such as current business performance, investment opportunities, potential M&A, and other strategic initiatives
  • You are responsible to conduct detailed analysis (e.g., variance, trends, market research) and financial modelling to evaluate projects
  • You will be tracking key financial metrics and performance indicators, providing regular updates to the CFO including performance initiatives 
  • You will be leading selected high-profile projects and initiatives 
  • You will support the preparation of key governance and external meetings such as Supervisory Board meetings, Audit Committee meetings etc. 
  • You will prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards for the CFO and executive / Finance leadership team 
  • You might be supporting the overall Finance team in urgent or time pressured situations such as the preparation of earnings materials, quarterly and annual financial statements etc.
What we are looking for:
  • You are passionate about Finance and learning how to steer the Finance Function as well as key projects in a fast paced, capital markets listed company
  • You have strong analytical and quantitative skills and have demonstrated thought leadership in high-profile projects 
  • You excel at synthesising key insights from multiple sources and translating them into actionable recommendations
  • You are proficient in financial modelling (e.g., business cases, DCF, etc.), analysis and forecasting with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • You have the ability to produce high-quality presentations and top-management reports with a concise, top-down communication style
  • You have demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and you have the ability to work with the top-management team of the company
  • You have excellent knowledge of financial tools and applications (e.g., Excel, Jedox, Tableau etc.) 
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in corporate finance or top tier consulting or any similar role with a clear Finance focus
  • You hold a Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. Any further relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly preferred
  • You have an understanding of accounting and reporting principles and experience in a publicly listed company is preferred but not mandatory
