Summary

The Data Governance Analyst at Sphere Entertainment Co. will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks and practices. This includes creating and maintaining policies, standards, and procedures; conducting regular data quality assessments; collaborating with IT and stakeholders to ensure compliance; maintaining documentation (data dictionaries, metadata); providing training and support; assisting in data catalog creation; and defining/tracking KPIs. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and experience with data governance tools and data visualization software. The position supports the company's Revenue Management goals and ensures data integrity and security.

Who are we hiring?

The Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks and practices to ensure the integrity, quality, and security of Sphere data assets. This position will collaborate with various stakeholders to manage data quality, lineage, and stewardship to facilitate a culture of effective data management in support of Revenue Management goals.

What will you do?

  • Create and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent data management practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments of data quality and integrity including but not limited to identifying data issues, recommending process improvements, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Partner with IT, data stewards, and Sphere revenue stakeholders to facilitate adherence to data governance practices and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including data dictionaries, metadata, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data governance policies, tools, and best practices.
  • Assist in the creation and management of a data catalog to enhance data discoverability and usability.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience in project management methodologies is a plus.

Pay Range
$75,000$90,000 USD
