This Apps Specialist role at Google partners with internal/external stakeholders to define account-level app strategies aligning with client business objectives. Responsibilities span pre-business, business, closing, and execution phases, driving customer adoption of Google's App Campaign offerings. The role requires a deep understanding of Google products, the app ecosystem, and various app measurement approaches. Building partnerships within Google (business, regional, and product teams) is crucial. The specialist will lead app solution promotion, gather client requirements, offer app best practices, and use data analysis and storytelling to position products effectively. They will also identify product gaps and build business cases based on advertiser needs, representing the client perspective to drive success for Large Customer Sales (LCS) advertisers. Fluent English and Mandarin communication is essential.
Must have:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising business, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience with the Application campaigns.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to communicate and serve local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in performance marketing, and media strategies.
  • Knowledge of apps and mobile marketing ecosystems, and mobile user acquisition platforms, with exposures in Short Drama/FinTech/Apps industries.
  • Knowledge of Mobile App Development on iOS or Android.
  • Knowledge of the industry's issues within the marketplace.
  • Ability to guide operational and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills.

About the job

In this role, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to define account level App strategies as a vehicle to achieve client's business objectives. You will lead pre-business, business, closing and execution engagements and take responsibility for advancing customer's feature and product adoption of Google’s App Campaign offerings. You will demonstrate an understanding of Google products, unlock the full potential of the app ecosystem and help app advertisers cultivate an install base of users that can drive business outcomes for the business.

You will define success in the app ecosystem and understand various different measurement approaches used in the App space by attribution partners. You will be building partnerships at various levels of the organization, with focus on partnering with Business teams, Regional teams and Global Product teams.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-line promoting efforts across all Google's App solutions for accounts in the Large Customer Sales (LCS) team.
  • Partner with client-facing teams to scope and collect client requirements, provide guidance on app best practices, and apply technology and product knowledge to address customer's business and technology needs.
  • Build C-level relationships with client decision makers and their agency counterparts to build and carry out marketing strategies.
  • Use data analysis, technical expertise, and storytelling to craft executive narratives that position products as solutions to business priorities.
  • Identify gaps in products and build business cases based on advertiser needs. Synthesize multiple viewpoints and communicate the client perspective for the product features and solutions necessary to drive success for Large Customer Sales (LCS) advertisers.
