Job Description

This role is an Account Strategist, Mid-Market Sales within Google Customer Solutions, focusing on clients in Shenzhen, China. Responsibilities include developing business growth through scaled product adoption, prioritizing customer experience, improving agency and customer relationships, managing business growth and productivity goals, and providing consultative advice to advertisers on maximizing their advertising ROI. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in Mandarin and English, experience in sales/marketing/business analytics within a technology or media company, and ideally experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management. The role requires managing multiple accounts simultaneously, problem-solving, and adapting to a dynamic environment.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years sales/marketing/analytics experience
  • Fluent Mandarin and English communication
  • Develop business growth & product adoption
  • Prioritize customer experience
  • Manage multiple accounts
Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Ads/YouTube
  • Experience in technology, advertising, or media sales
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or business analytics at an agency, technology, or media company.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with sales in a technology, advertising, media sales, or internet environment.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously while paying attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.
  • Ability to grow in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customers business driving scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve the agency and customer relationships and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Manage business growth and productivity goals, and drive in quarter business growth and product adoptions.
  • Provide advice and help our advertisers get the investment return on their advertising by working in a consultative role with account strategist.
