Role and Missions — What you will do 🚀

We are looking for a talented and experienced Art Director to lead and elevate our game's visual quality to industry-leading standards. You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Product, Tech, and Marketing teams, to achieve the highest level of visual quality, and player experience, while navigating the technical limitations of mobile.

What you will do:

  • Lead the creation of a cohesive art direction that aligns with the game’s creative goals, while using your visual communication expertise to develop concepts, mood boards, and style guides for clear messaging to stakeholders.
  • Inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team of artists, to produce high-quality work, while mentoring emerging leaders and providing guidance throughout the development process.
  • Direct the development of gameplay assets, characters, and environments from concept to final implementation, ensuring artistic cohesion, technical compatibility, and high standards through regular reviews and feedback.
  • Create and maintain visual documentation such as style guides and brand guidelines, collaborating closely with project leadership, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on artistic decisions.
  • Seek creative solutions to enhance the game’s artistic value, optimize assets for mobile performance, and stay informed about industry trends and tools to push the boundaries within the puzzle arcade genre.
  • Leverage understanding of visual impact on player behavior to enhance engagement, while adapting to various artistic styles to meet technical and time constraints in mobile game development.

In this role, you will significantly influence the company’s artistic direction by contributing to key artistic decisions alongside a senior, multidisciplinary team of passionate and talented professionals. You will oversee the visual aspects of the global game's release, manage its artistic presentation, and refine the visual strategy.

Requirements

Preferred Experience—What's your profile 👀

If you’re creative, ambitious, and up for taking over the industry, we want you on our team!

  • +5 years of proven track record expertise in game art pipelines (concept to in-game, mobile optimization).
  • Proficiency in key software (Adobe Suite, Blender, Unity) and UI/UX design experience for mobile games.
  • Knowledge of optimizing for mobile performance (textures, shaders).
  • Experience with real-time rendering, procedural art, and knowledge of VFX, AR/VR, or scripting, is a plus.
  • Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability under constraints with high attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication with creatives and stakeholders.
  • Passion for gaming and understanding player experience.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and cross-cultural experience.
  • Portfolio with shipped mobile titles.
