Job Description

This role is for an Asset Director for the "Youmingzhi" stylized film project. Key responsibilities include developing modeling solutions, establishing production pipelines, and overseeing the visual effects of 3D assets (models, materials, hair, fabric). The director will ensure artistic quality and production efficiency, participate in workflow management, and continuously improve visual effects. The ideal candidate will have rich experience in animation film modeling and materials, strong artistic skills, and proficiency in relevant software like Maya and ZBrush.

Must have:

Develop modeling solutions and establish complete production pipelines for stylized film projects.
Control, review, and guide visual effects of 3D assets (models, materials, hair, fabric).
Ensure artistic quality and production efficiency of project assets.
Possess strong creative, refining, and generalizing abilities for model design.
Participate in formulating and managing 3D production workflows and specifications.
Continuously explore and improve visual effects presentation.
Rich experience in animation film modeling and materials.
Participated in first-class domestic and international cinema quality film production.
Possess excellent artistic cultivation and artistic foundation.
Deep understanding of shape, proportion, form, structure, and perspective.
Familiar with Maya, ZBrush, Mari, Substance Painter software.
Deep understanding of material control parameters.
Rich experience in asset production and process management.
Strong execution and control abilities.
Strong overall project grasp and high-level artistic creation ability.
Accurately understand script and design requirements.
Understand various art styles and complete visual effects development.
Good at communication and teamwork.

Job Description

1. Develop modeling solutions and establish a complete production pipeline for the "Youmingzhi" stylized film project.

2. In accordance with the director's and visual effects supervisor's intentions and requirements, and in cooperation with the production director, deeply understand the structure, form, potential animation mechanisms, and material requirements of 2D design drawings. Be responsible for controlling, reviewing, and guiding the visual effects of the project's 3D assets (models, materials, hair, and fabric assets) to ensure the artistic quality and production efficiency of the project assets. As the project is a highly stylized film, the candidate needs to possess strong creative, refining, and generalizing abilities for model design, and develop processes for this purpose.

3. Participate in the formulation and management of 3D production workflows and specifications, improving the team's artistic level and production execution capabilities.

4. Continuously explore and improve the presentation of visual effects.

Job Requirements

1. Rich experience in animation film modeling and materials, capable of coordinating with the director team to develop complete visual effects solutions; participated in the production of first-class domestic and international cinema quality films.

2. Possess excellent artistic cultivation and artistic foundation, with a deep understanding of shape, proportion, form, structure, and perspective. Familiar with software such as Maya, ZBrush, Mari, Substance Painter, and have a deep understanding of the properties of various control parameters for materials. Possess rich experience in asset production and process management, with strong execution and control abilities.

3. Strong overall project grasp, possessing high-level artistic cultivation and artistic creation ability, capable of accurately understanding script and design requirements. Understand various art styles and complete the development and implementation of visual effects according to project requirements.

4. Good at communication and teamwork.
