This 12-month fixed-term contract Customer Support Trainee position at Tesla's Sydney HQ provides entry-level customer service professionals with an opportunity for growth. As a Tesla Cadet, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries via phone, web, and chat. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing remote diagnostics, educating owners on self-service options, logging issues in the CRM, and collaborating with internal teams. The role offers exposure to Sales, Service, and Delivery teams, providing a comprehensive understanding of Tesla's operations. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a strong work ethic. They should be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be enthusiastic about Tesla's mission.

Our Cadet Support Specialists are more than just problem-solvers – they are Tesla brand ambassadors, building relationships and providing an exceptional experience for our rapidly growing customer base.

You will be based at our brand-new Sydney HQ in Alexandria, a stone’s throw from Mascot station, where you will be equipped to support the owners of some of the most innovative vehicles ever made. You’ll be joining a passionate, customer-centric, and resilient team that is driving the future of sustainable transportation. In addition, this cadetship will expose you to various areas of the business, including Sales, Service, and Delivery, offering you a unique opportunity to understand and contribute to multiple facets of Tesla’s operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the first point of contact, delivering outstanding customer support via phone, web, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot and assess customer concerns, performing remote diagnostics and collaborating with internal teams for effective resolutions.
  • Educate Tesla owners on how to self-serve through our website and self-scheduling systems.
  • Accurately log issues into our CRM/Vehicle Support System to ensure smooth tracking and follow-up.
  • Gain valuable exposure to Sales, Service, and Delivery teams, broadening your experience and understanding of how Tesla operates.
  • Consistently provide an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Tesla brand.
