At GSG, we take a pragmatic, hands-on approach to our work. We prioritize teamwork, flexibility, and proactivity. Collaboration is central to everything we do. We believe the best results come from sharing ideas and refining them based on further feedback.
We value clear communication, adaptability, and a proactive approach. This means being comfortable trying different solutions, sharing opinions, receiving and incorporating feedback, being open to different perspectives, and taking responsibility for your own tasks.
As our new crew member, you'll be part of the Publishing and Marketing Team and will work closely with all its current members. The team consists of three people â each with their own area of responsibility â and is led by the Head of Publishing & Marketing. You are a student with at least 1.5 years remaining in your studies in the fields of Statistics, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics. It is also crucial that you have a strong interest in the gaming industry.

Possess strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present your ideas.
Are familiar with game titles developed by Ghost Ship Games as well as those published by Ghost Ship Games Publishing.
While you may still be building your experience, youâre curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow your skills.
Youâre genuinely interested in understanding how games work and what influences player behavior, enjoying the process of spotting patterns in how players interact with games.
Youâre comfortable sharing what you discover and believe that working together and discussing data leads to better insights than simply presenting results. You see yourself collaborating with people across different teams and contributing to a wide range of data-related topics.
Are curious and data-driven.
Manage your tasks proactively and work well independently.
Have a passion for game development and design.
Making dashboards and other visualizations of gameplay and business data.
Writing queries and scheduling jobs that make the data in our data warehouses usable for dashboards and visualizations.
Doing ad-hoc quantitative analyses based on questions from the development team.
