What You Will Do
Nasdaq is seeking a highly motivated Data Operations Analyst to join the Nasdaq Fund Network (NFN) product and operations team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with datasets and data systems and be excited about utilizing technology to automate data quality checks and process improvements.
NFN facilitates the collection and dissemination of performance, NAV, valuation, and strategy-level reference data for over 45,000 investable products to 100 million plus investors. Our product enables improved discoverability, as each product is registered with a unique symbol along with greater transparency and amplified reach. We serve asset managers, financial advisory firms, and market data managers in a fast-paced and high-reaching environment.
In this role you will:
Work with product management and operations team to expand content offering and enhancing data quality via technology
Work on special projects that will encompass automation of repetitive process work
Use AI tools and services built by in-house AI team to pull data from factsheets
Assist in debugging of complex client issues involving our cloud APIs
Handle multiple assignments at once and meet associated deadlines that are important to success
Work both independently as well as collaborate on a team
What We Expect
Have at least 2 years experience in Business Operations or Technical Support at a financial services firm or SaaS technology company
Working knowledge of Python and SQL
You understand web services, including transport (primarily HTTP), common data formats (JSON), and standard API patterns (e.g. REST).
Highly analytical, strong problem solver and able to investigate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior level of attention to detail
Adaptable and a quick learner
Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related degree.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
