Xsolla seeks a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, optimize performance, implement replication and high availability, and support development teams. Responsibilities include performance tuning, managing replication and high availability, assisting development teams with database solutions, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of DBA experience, expert-level experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, strong SQL skills, AWS or GCP experience, and excellent communication skills.
Must have:

- AWS or GCP experience
- Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
- Python or Bash scripting

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic engineering team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for managing RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, optimizing performance, implementing replication and high availability, and providing support to development teams. Troubleshooting and problem-solving will be a key part of your role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Performance tuning
- Implement and manage replication, high availability, partitioning / sharding
- Assist development teams in creating, optimizing, and problem solve with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Troubleshooting
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
- Strong command of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
- Proficiency in Linux
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A plus if: Experience with Python or Bash scripting. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
