Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings the magic of Disney’s beloved stories, franchises, and characters to families and fans around the world. From toys to apparel, books to games, our global marketing organization profoundly impacts The Walt Disney Company and the international markets in which we operate. With a portfolio of world-class franchises including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, 20th Century Fox, National Geographic, and Star Wars, we are a worldwide industry and category leader delivering innovative products that entertain and inspire! This exciting internship is a full-time, six-month commitment from January 2025 to June 2025.

What You Will Do

As an intern, you will help support the go-to-market strategies and execution of marketing plans across all franchises and key initiatives that will help drive business goals and top-line demand. You’ll have a chance to work with key contributors and partners across marketing strategy, outstanding creative, PR & communications, and franchise/commercial teams. You will build, shape, and drive coordinated social communication plans, supervise, and analyze business performance. Are you ready to join a dynamic global marketing team? Apply today!

On any given day, you might:

  • Assist with marketing strategies and go-to-market plan development to deliver our business goals
  • Provide support with communication plan development across the team
  • Evaluate campaign creatives and track approvals/status updates with agencies
  • Apply data to make strategic recommendations and track program/product budgets
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver assets, campaign pitch kits, toolkits, and content following brand guidelines and maintaining updates
  • Provide generational knowledge into trends and ways of thinking
  • Be an active participant and perform overall project management/ad hoc requests from leadership

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven marketing skills to develop strategic feedback, reasons, and marketing communication plans
  • Ability to build and implement strategic plans and project management tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Keynote and presentation delivery
  • Shown experience in graphic design using Adobe/Canva or similar
  • Marketing industry knowledge of trends and the latest innovations
  • Creatively minded with the ability to encourage teams using analytical thinking, foresight, and problem-solving skills

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Undergraduate students currently enrolled in their senior year, or graduated within the past six months majoring in business, marketing, or a related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Program

Additional Information

  • Must be in compliance with appearance guidelines while at work
  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 - June 2025
  • Full availability is required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship, including possible evenings and weekends if necessary
  • Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work in Orlando, FL, or greater Los Angeles, CA is required
  • Limited housing opportunities may be available for Florida-based Disney Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information
