Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair its energy storage products. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning of energy storage systems across Belgium and potentially abroad. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with low and medium voltage systems (high voltage experience is a plus). Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills are essential, along with excellent communication and the ability to work independently. The role demands flexibility for travel and fluency in English. This position is crucial in ensuring optimal performance of Tesla's energy storage solutions, contributing directly to the growth of renewable energy infrastructure.

Must have:

3+ years experience in electrical engineering
Low/Medium voltage system experience
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Excellent communication skills
Flexible and willing to travel
Fluency in English

Good to have:

High voltage experience
Experience with Energy Storage products

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure our Energy Storage products are operating at their best. Our Energy Storage products help solve the problem with the inconsistent supply of wind and solar power, accelerating the transition to a greener electricity network. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Belgium. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage products in Belgium and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Act as the first point of contact to contractors
Analyze recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field, experience in a field-based role is a plus
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in English
Valid driver’s license
EU work authorization
