Position Summary:

The Cloud Success Team at Trend Micro is a unique group that is innovating the traditional sales role by building a culture of creativity and teamwork to improve Trend Micro's business as well as customer experience. As a member of the Cloud Success Team, you will be responsible for educating, and selling Trend Micro products and services in assigned territories, paired up alongside Sales Engineers, Sales Management and Marketing to coordinate and plan sales activities within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for outbound + inbound efforts to new or prospective customers, driving meetings, product demonstrations and helping to arrange proof of concepts. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and maintaining business relationships internally and externally. Cloud Success Team members will also be accountable for qualifying and following up with inbound sales leads and have a thorough knowledge of Trend Micro products and services. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with industry knowledge as well as the competitive landscape.  Looking for those who are passionate about Technology, Security, and the Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with a Solutions Engineer, to help develop Trend Micro business to new prospective organizations and on new cross-sell + upsell to existing customer base to existing Trend Micro customers.

  • Candidate will be a hunter through outbound calling and email efforts to enterprise level organizations.

  • Product Focus – Entire Trend Micro Portfolio with room to specialize in Cloud or XDR space.

  • Candidate will work intensively to increase and improve product awareness within assigned territory by building and maintaining relationships with customers and channel partners.

  • Can demonstrate their ability to comprehend new technology and to develop strategies to set Trend Micro meetings created for increasing sales.

  • Candidates must have the ability to engage virtually to identify customer’s pains & challenges then effectively present how our solutions can address their needs. It is also critical to convey, internally and externally, how customers use Trend Micro products and solutions.

  • Proven track record in running and leading meetings in a quota carrying sales role.

  • Training opportunities include assistance and resources in acquiring your AWS + Azure certifications to support technical conversations around cloud strategy, cloud migration, and cloud security. 

  • Support and adapt traditional and innovative sales processes to adapt to evolving SaaS landscape.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Math, or Computer Science is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience:

  • 2+ years in selling software or technology with inside sales and channel experience, where the target customers have been large enterprise organizations engaging with IT and or Security teams.

  • Experience running meetings with Microsoft Teams and other collaboration platforms

  • Experience with SaaS solutions, Cloud related products and AWS is desirable.

  • Travel is minimal, but opportunities to travel for top performers to support the business.

  • Strong independent work ethic.

  • Superior communication and presentation skills.

  • CRM system utilization –Salesforce.com a plus.

  • Owning sales process + closing deals.
