Job Description
As a Game Artist at AvatarUX, you will join a team of talented artists, illustrators, animators, developers, and testers. Your responsibilities will include creating concept art, final in-game illustrations, hand-painted UI elements, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality game assets. You will collaborate with other artists and developers, following priorities set by the Game Producer and participating in the daily development workflow. AvatarUX creates slot games and has won awards in the iGaming industry. The company is looking for a passionate and creative individual to contribute to its rapidly growing team.
Must have:
- Superior illustration skills with a strong portfolio.
- Top level creativity and ability to develop fantastic concept art.
- Ability to work in various visual styles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret feedback.
- Good knowledge of advanced Photoshop features.
- At least 2 years of experience in game development.
- Ability to organize your work.
- Some knowledge in technical art for asset preparation.
- Experience with iGaming slot providers and visual hierarchy.
Good to have:
- Documented awards or features on portfolio sites.
- Advanced knowledge of image optimization methods.
- Knowledge of Photoshop automation tools.
- Experience with UI design for games and typography.

As a Game Artist in AvatarUX, you will join a team of super-talented concept artists, illustrators and animators, as well as very friendly developers and testers to keep our games at the highest quality bar!
Requirements
· Working with the Head of Art, Game Producers, and Product teams to fully realize a game’s vision and theme.
· Creating concept art as well as final in-game illustrations.
· Creating hand-painted UI elements for slot games.
· Finalizing and polishing existing concepts.
· Following priorities set forth by the Game Producer.
· Delivering clean and well-organized source files for the animators to work on.
· Exporting image assets according to our internal specifications and guidelines.
· Collaborating with other illustrators, animators and developers to ensure a smooth and timely delivery.
· Participating in everyday development workflow.
Must haves
· Superior illustration skills backed up by a jaw-dropping portfolio.
· Top level creativity and ability to come up with fantastic concept art.
· Ability to comfortably work in many different visual styles.
· Great communication skills and ability to interpret and implement constructive feedback
· Good knowledge of advanced Photoshop features like linked Smart Objects and style libraries.
· At least 2 years of experience in working in a game development workflow.
· Ability to organize your work
· Some knowledge in technical art is required for properly preparing assets for further use
· Experience working with iGaming slot providers and great understanding of visual hierarchy and principles of slot games.
Nice to haves
· Documented awards, features or editor’s picks on top portfolio sites like Behance or ArtStation.
· Advanced knowledge of image optimization methods.
· Knowledge of Photoshop automation tools.
· Experience with UI design for games and typography is a plus.
