Summary

As a Java Developer at Ness Digital Engineering, you will collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements, participate in design decisions, develop functionality, write unit tests, troubleshoot production issues, and be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will work with a global team, leveraging Spring (Spring Integration, Enterprise Integration Patterns), RESTful services, and Git/Jenkins. Experience with XML/JAXB or XSLT, scripting (Python/Flask), cloud technologies (AWS), and Capital Markets is a plus.
Must have:
  • 3+ years Java development experience

  • Fluent English communication
Good to have:

What you’ll do:

  • Work with business analysts to understand requirements;
  • Participate in design decisions;
  • Develop necessary functionality;
  • Cover your code with Unit tests;
  • Perform troubleshooting and support production;
  • Be involved in all of the phases of the development life cycle.

What you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • A minimum 3 years of Java development experience;
  • Fluency in spoken English so that you would be able to discuss;
  • Technical solutions with an overseas team;
  • Expertise in Spring (specifically Spring Integration and
  • Enterprise Integration Patterns;
  • Commercial experience with RESTful services;
  • Knowledge about Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.

Ideal candidates will also:

  • Have proficiency with XML and JAXB or XSLT;
  • Be familiar with scripting and cloud technologies (Unix/Linux, Python and Flask, AWS Services);
  • Have Capital Markets experience with an understanding of financial instruments and a trading environment;
  • Have experience with Regulatory Trade Reporting.
  • Graphql, Elasticsearch, k8s.
