We are looking for a Lead SDET for our Technology Team, which focuses on Playrix's Unity-like game engine and editor. We use this tool to create some of the most successful mobile games in the world.
Tasks
Developing a testing culture for the entire Engine at the C++ code level
Designing, developing, and implementing testing infrastructure and tools for test automation at the C++ code level
Reviewing test coverage and writing unit, integration and system tests at the C++ code level
Testing functionality at the code level
Managing and developing the QA team (3-4 people, SDETs + QA Engineers)
Providing quality control and testing of the functionality developed by the team at all stages of the product development life cycle
Taking responsibility at the team level for the quality of the product delivered
Requirements
At least 2 years as a team leader
Programming skills in C++ or C#/Objective C/Swift/Java/Kotlin, but with a desire to switch to C++
Experience writing unit tests, creating a framework/toolkit to simplify the team's (programmers and QA) test writing, experience with code coverage assessment tools
Proficiency in white box testing techniques
Knowledge of testing theory and the ability to apply it in practice
Experience participating in the implementation of changes at the team level
Proactivity, developed communication skills, flexibility
Preferred
Knowledge of the basic principles of game engines
Experience working on multi-platform applications
