Zscaler is seeking a Manager, Sales Engineering for its Mexico team, reporting to the LATAM Manager. The role involves leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Engineers focused on strategic accounts across Mexico. The manager will also partner with leadership on strategic initiatives for the territory and provide technical expertise. Must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in sales or systems engineering
  • 5+ years in leadership of a sales engineering team
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, or cybersecurity
  • Excellent knowledge and experience selling network security technologies

We’re looking for a Manager, Sales Engineering to lead our Mexico team. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Engineering LATAM, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Engineers supporting strategic accounts across Mexico
  • Refining the sales engineering processes such as discovery, technical qualification and proof-of-concept
  • Fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture that embraces flexibility, problem-solving, and proactive engagement beyond traditional pre-sales boundaries (post-sales alignment, partner enablement, marketing support, etc.)
  • Providing advice and support response to requests for proposals (RFPs), i.e. present recommendations and associated benefits to clients
  • Partnering with regional and global leadership to define and implement strategic initiatives for the territory

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or systems engineering
  • 5+ years in leadership, managing and directing a sales engineering team
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, or cybersecurity solutions
  • Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies

  • Ability to participate in regional industry events with other organizations as subject matter expert of Zscaler
  • High standards of ownership, accountability, and proactive communication, with an ability to build trust and alignment across diverse internal teams and customer stakeholders
