Job Description

This Network Engineer position is with Apexon's Edge Networking team within the Pennsylvania Office of Administration. The role involves providing technical support for planning, designing, maintaining, and integrating local and wide area network infrastructure. Responsibilities include contributing to edge networking architecture deployed across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and extensive hands-on experience in a large environment. CCNA and CCNP certifications are preferred but not mandatory for candidates with equivalent experience. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Role Description:

This position is with the Edge Networking team within the Bureau of Infrastructure under the Pennsylvania Office of Administration (OA). The purpose of this position is to provide network support to edge networks for assigned agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for planning, designing, maintaining, and integrating local and wide area network infrastructure and will have input into the edge networking architecture deployed throughout the Enterprise. The selected candidate must be able to communicate well and needs to be a highly technical and eager individual with numerous years of experience in a large environment.

CCNA and CCNP certificates or higher are preferred, but candidates with demonstrable levels of commensurate hands-on experience will be considered.

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
