We are seeking a Search Performance Manager to join our client’s retail media advertising organization. In this role, you will analyze and optimize first-party supplier search campaigns to meet marketing objectives, drive revenue growth, and influence ongoing product enhancements. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, Campaign Management, and API/Ad Tech partners while being directly responsible for strategic planning, bid and budget management, keyword optimization, account configuration, and performance reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the media/retail media industry, a thorough understanding of the paid search landscape, and a data-driven, results-oriented approach to campaign optimization.
This is a remote project opportunity through January 2026. Open to candidates located in the Hoboken, NJ/NYC metro areas.
Pay: $48-$52/hour
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute optimization strategies for Sponsored Products to ensure campaign effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Monitor Sponsored Products' performance and drive one-to-many activities to improve overall ROI and maximize supplier (advertiser) engagement.
- Identify domain, brand, category, and campaign trends to provide insightful analysis, supporting incremental budget requests aimed at growing and stabilizing supplier investments.
- Manage campaign budgets, bids, and keyword targeting to meet performance goals.
- Build and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to track campaign health and performance metrics.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign performance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Campaign Management, Product, and Ad Tech) to deliver solutions that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to product and operational feedback loops by championing the voice of the customer and marketplace trends.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across retail media, digital advertising, or e-commerce platforms.
- Proficient in creating pivot tables, advanced formulas, complex data analysis, and performance forecasting to support optimization strategies.
- Ability to design visually impactful presentations and communicate complex campaign results and strategies effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, recognize trends, and produce actionable insights to drive campaign success.
- Clear and concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work across various teams and influence decision-making.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with retail media platforms, ad management tools (e.g., SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), analytics platforms, and bid optimization tools.
- Skilled at proactively identifying campaign challenges and developing scalable solutions to enhance performance and client satisfaction.
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail media or e-commerce environment.
- Understanding of broader digital marketing channels and their interplay with search.
- Familiarity with API integrations, ad tech solutions, and automation strategies.
