As a Programs Specialist, you will enthusiastically represent the Google brand and build our talent pipeline. Whether it’s making our recruiting systems more efficient, planning for our growth, building relationships on college campuses or cultivating the next generation of computer scientists, you will have a keen understanding on the recruiting needs of Google and the broader hiring landscape. You'll be focused on cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, and you are the glue that ties together a cross-functional and international group of recruiting teams. As a Programs specialist, you will represent Google brand and build talent pipeline for Google’s Business and Tech organizations. You will partner with the business to drive key programs and recruitment that enhance Google’s efforts to attract, engage and retain diverse talent.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience of project management, delivering results, extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret different data sets to decipher patterns and come up with actionable solutions.
  • Ability to be self-directed and motivated, with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent balance of creativity and drive, with problem-solving skills.
  • Tolerates ambiguity and thrives in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent content development, articulation, written and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a wide variety of go-to-market initiatives and programs (e.g.Networking sessions for leadership level talent, preparation session for early in career to mid-executive level talent, etc.) to build Google’s short and long term candidate pipeline.
  • Build social media comms for programs, promote Google employee advocacy programs, conduct exercises and research to build a social media presence for Google.
  • Implement and niche engagement and outreach programs to activate a potential passive pipeline.
  • Build data, reporting and insights to measure the impact of programs. Use analyses from past programs to develop recommendations for improvement and drive new initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with internal partners as well as external users and partners Event Programs, third party vendors, etc. to enable efficient execution of Industry programs.
