Job Description

Xsolla seeks a QA Engineer (Mid-Level) for their Partner Network Team. This role involves supporting current testing processes, implementing new testing approaches (manual and automated), developing testing strategies, contributing to technical documentation, collaborating with product teams, and taking operational responsibility for product functionality. The ideal candidate is passionate about testing, enjoys complex challenges, values open communication, and is driven to improve the product. The product helps game developers create performance-based incentive programs and user reactivation activities.

Must have:

2+ years testing experience
Knowledge of testing theory and design
Experience in test automation or willingness to learn
Collaboration & communication skills
English B1 level or higher

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a QA Engineer (Mid-Level) to join the Xsolla Partner Network Team.

Our product helps game developers create performance-based incentive programs and user reactivation activities for various channels, including influencers, affiliates, and web portals—specifically tailored for the gaming industry. It provides an easy-to-use, cost-effective tool for these purposes.

Currently, the product is undergoing a revitalization with a new team. We aim to refine the existing codebase, update it, and drive further development.

TECH STACK

Backend: PHP (Symfony)

Frontend: React, Webpack, micro frontends via Webpack Module Federation (for Publisher Account)

Infrastructure: Kubernetes (k8s)

Database: MySQL, Redis

General Tools: GitLab, Jira, Confluence

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a QA professional who is passionate about fostering a strong testing culture within the team. If you are eager to work on a promising product, enjoy tackling complex challenges, value open and healthy communication, and are driven to improve the product, this role is perfect for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support current testing processes in the team and implement new approaches to testing
Engage in manual testing, as well as the implementation and development of auto-tests
Develop a testing strategy for new and old features
Contributing to technical documentation for the product in Confluence
Collaborate with product team members
Take operational responsibility for the product functionality
Be passionate about user experience and product delivery

REQUIREMENTS

Interest in the profession
Testing experience of two years or more
Knowledge of testing theory, test analysis and test design techniques, ability to apply theory in practice
Experience in test automation or the desire to develop in this field
The desire to improve and expand the set of knowledge and technical tools
Experience working with requirements presented in various forms
Smart, friendly team player, and you enjoy working with others to pursue a common goal
English level B1 and higher
Readiness to work in an English-speaking environment
Ability to work and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
