Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for testing games throughout the development cycle. They will identify and document bugs to ensure a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience for players. The analyst will conduct comprehensive game testing across various devices and platforms. They will create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts. Collaboration with developers and designers is essential, providing feedback on game features and user experience. The analyst will report identified issues and verify bug fixes.
Must have:
  • Proven QA experience in the mobile gaming industry.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of mobile platforms and their guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with testing fighting games.

Drop Fake is a dynamic and innovative game development company dedicated to creating top-tier mobile gaming experiences. 

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for mobile gaming, with a strong focus on fighting games.

As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for testing our games throughout the development cycle, identifying and documenting bugs, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience for our players.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst in the mobile gaming industry.

    • With familiarity in playing and testing fighting games being highly desirable!

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective guidelines and standards.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines in a remote team environment.

  • Bonus: Prior experience with testing and tools in the Unity engine

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive game testing across various devices and platforms to identify defects and performance issues.

  • Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of game features and functionalities.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other team members to understand game mechanics and provide feedback on game features and user experience.

  • Report identified issues clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity levels.

  • Track and verify bug fixes, ensuring that issues are resolved and re-tested to confirm their resolution.

DETAILS

  • Full time:- 40 hours per week

  • Salary range: $50K - $70K annually CAD Annually
