PwC Malta services a variety of clients including credit and financial institutions as well as investment firms, which are increasingly demanding risk and regulatory advice. We are looking for a Risk and Regulatory Manager to be part of an established team of professionals within the Banking Advisory team which forms part of the Assurance Line of Service.

The role entails supporting clients to navigate through the challenges that are evolving within the financial services sector. As a result, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a spectrum of consulting projects, such as:

•    ICAAPs, ILAAPs and Recovery Plans of several local banks
•    Stress testing support 
•    IRRBB & asset-liability management
•    Resolution planning 
•    Ad-hoc interpretations of rules, regulations and the application of guidelines issued by regulatory bodies, including CRR/CRD/BRRD/SRMR, etc.
•    Business model reviews and other business strategy related projects
•    Business plans and license applications with the MFSA
•    Internal governance and risk management advice
•    Sustainable finance
•    Delivery of training to the financial services community
 

The successful candidate will be joining a team of passionate consultants working in a fast-paced and challenging environment who collectively:

• Leverage on the relationships across the PwC network to understand how risk and regulation is evolving in other territories

• Expand their knowledge of regulatory requirements daily

• Eagerly develop new skills in risk modelling

• Identify business opportunities for new and existing clients

• Celebrates success

• Strong report-writing and presentation skills

Minimum years of experience required

• At least 4 years of experience working in risk or regulatory functions within the financial services sector

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in accountancy, banking and finance, management, economics, or a related discipline
