As a Salesforce Developer, you will enhance and manage Salesforce solutions on Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud, directly impacting both agents and customers. You will work in an agile team environment developing innovative solutions that drive business goals while exploring new Salesforce capabilities. You will report directly to the Director of Engineering - Salesforce Development.
Must have:
  • Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.
  • Integrate third-party applications to extend functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Manage deployments through Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of development experience.
  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SOAP/REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with modern IDEs and version control tools.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Good to have:
  • Experience with Salesforce unit and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX) and Python.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Salesforce certifications.

We’re currently seeking a Salesforce Developer for a 12+ month contract opportunity with a prominent financial client. This role is based in Newark, DE, with a hybrid work schedule.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will enhance and manage Salesforce solutions on Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud, directly impacting both agents and customers. In an agile team environment, you’ll work on developing innovative solutions that drive business goals while exploring new Salesforce capabilities. You’ll report directly to the Director of Engineering - Salesforce Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools (Flow, Custom Metadata, etc.).
  • Integrate third-party applications, such as Amazon Connect and LiveVox, to extend functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure optimal performance and maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that add value.
  • Manage deployments through Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines, ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of development experience, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (Aura & LWC), and SOQL.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SOAP/REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with modern IDEs (VSCode, IntelliJ) and version control tools (Git, SVN).
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce unit and automated testing (JEST, Robot Framework).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX) and Python.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, App Builder, JavaScript Developer I, Administrator).
