Job Description
Gybe Games is seeking a Senior Game Developer to build engaging experiences for millions of users. Responsibilities include programming game logic, AI, graphics, and UI, designing and maintaining casual gaming products, writing clean code, participating in code reviews, and working within a team. The role also involves brainstorming new ideas to enhance user experience. The company offers a collaborative environment with a focus on fun and passion for games.
Must have:
- 5+ years of casual game development experience.
- Comfortable with modern version control systems (git).
- Good command of programming languages (C#).
- Solid understanding of game project lifecycle.
- Experience with UI, audio, and animation systems.
- Deep understanding of mobile platforms.
- Excellent understanding of software architecture.
- Strong object-oriented skills.
Good to have:
- University degree in Computer Science.
- Familiarity with unit tests and CI/CD.
- Portfolio of released mobile titles.
- Knowledge of Python, Objective-C, Swift, Java, Go or .Net.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Build an amazing experience for the millions of users who play every day.
- Involve in all areas of game development including programming of game logic, artificial intelligence, graphics and user interface.
- Design, implement, test and maintain our casual gaming products.
- Write robust, clean, sustainable code and participate in peer code-reviews to be used by millions of users.
- Work as part of a team, but with plenty of opportunity to take responsibility on an individual level.
- Brainstorm new ideas together with your team to continually iterate and improve user experience of our games.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of casual game development experience with Unity 3D or other game engines like libGDX, Cocos2d-x, Unreal, and Godot.
- Being very comfortable with modern version control systems (git).
- Good command of various programming languages (such as C#) and experience on best practices and idioms of these languages.
- Have a solid understanding the life cycle of a game project both development and live operations.
- Experience in the development of UI, audio, animation systems and good CPU and GPU profiling & optimization skills.
- Deep understanding of the mobile platforms and their specific requirements.
- Excellent understanding of software architecture, design, and development.
- Apart from technology and programming language, having strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns.
- Eager to search/discuss new technologies.
Nice to Haves
- University degree in Computer Science or any equivalent department.
- Being familiar with unit tests, CI/CD, networking, backend integrations etc.
- Portfolio of released mobile titles.
- Have some knowledge of Python, Objective-C, Swift, Java, Go or .Net.
