Position Overview:

Looking for Senior Management Accountant

What you’ll do as the Senior Management Accountant:

Employees employed in the role of Vendor Rebate Specialist shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

• Preparation of month-end and yearly management accounts. Preparation of P&L and balance sheet, including month-end close, variance analysis, exception reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and commentary.
• Preparation and posting of monthly accruals like Depreciations, Aged Stock Provisions, Reallocations, AP and AR related accruals, corrections of errors etc. as part of month end process ensuring compliance to matching and prudence concept of accounting.
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register ensuring it reconciles to Management accounts.
• Maintenance of Prepaid Schedule making sure it reconciles to Management accounts and prepayments are released to P&L on an accurate basis.
• Dealing with the annual audit – audit coordination and providing requested information.
• Preparation of monthly report for Account Director/Sales Teams calculating Aged Stock Provision adjustments to be charged against commissions.
• Presentation of overall Inventory levels for designated entities for weekly management review.
• Review and Update FX rates.
• Upload invoice data to CBIF.
• Check bank accounts for receipts and payments/DDRs.
• Scorecard spreadsheet.
• Vendor Payments: ZUK, ZBS & ZTIL.
• ZUK/ZBS Receipts from Microsoft report for CBIF.    
• ZUK / ZBS / ZTIL / ZMEA Reconcile bank statements.
• Expense Claim Payments.
• Gather Zones Inc FBAR data.
• Overdue Aged Debt retention report for Credit Control.
• ZUK / ZBS Reconcile financing bank statements.
• ZUK / ZBS Reconcile CBIF Sales Ledger/Month End Rec.
• Other Ad hoc activities.

What you will bring to the team:

• Proven experience as management accountant, accounting supervisor or similar role.
• ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good working knowledge of cashbook posting and treasury functions including FX deals..
