The Senior Mobile Developer will be part of a team providing 16x7 mobile application support for global customers. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving iOS application issues, participating in incident response and root cause analysis, providing hands-on technical support for customer-facing applications, and monitoring system alerts. The developer will collaborate with other engineers to maintain and improve mobile features, improve tooling and monitoring, write documentation, and contribute to RCA reports. The role also involves contributing to 16x7 support coverage and participating in on-call schedules.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of iOS application development.
  • Expertise in iOS development with Swift and Xcode.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and log analysis.
  • Experience in production support or DevOps roles.
  • Strong communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Exposure to React or Node.js
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience working with global, multicultural teams.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, mobile app deployment, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Familiarity with Firebase, Cloud Functions, or other GCP-native technologies.

Job Details

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join our RUN support team, focused on delivering 16x7 mobile application support for global customers. This role requires a highly skilled and proactive professional with strong expertise in iOS development (Swift), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and JavaScript. 

You will be part of a rotating shift team responsible for ensuring system uptime, performance, and rapid incident resolution.


 

You will

  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document iOS application issues in a production support setting. 
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis (RCA), providing timely resolutions. 
  • Provide hands-on technical support and maintenance across a suite of customer-facing applications. 
  • Monitor and respond to incidents, outages, and system alerts within a 16x7 support model (9 am ET to 11 pm PT). 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time across iOS applications, backend services, and cloud infrastructure. 
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to stabilize, maintain, and improve existing mobile features. 
  • Contribute to improving tooling, monitoring, and operational efficiency. 
  • Write and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles. 
  • Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) reports and suggest long-term fixes for recurring issues. 
  • Contribute to and help coordinate 16x7 support coverage, including shift handovers and escalation awareness. 
  • Assist in the automation of monitoring and alerting systems to improve operational efficiency. 
  • Participate in rotational on-call or flexible shift support schedules as required by the 16x7 operation. 

 

You have

  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in iOS application development.
  • Expertise in iOS development with Swift and experience with Xcode and related tools.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including debugging and cross-platform troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, deployment, and monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, and log analysis.
  • Proven experience in production support, SRE, or DevOps roles, ideally in high-availability environments.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work in a rotational or flexible schedule to support 16x7 operations.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, mobile app deployment, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Familiarity with Firebase, Cloud Functions, or other GCP-native technologies.
  • Exposure to React or Node.js is a plus.
