As a Senior Product Manager (KICK), you will lead the product strategy and roadmap for Kick’s advertising systems. This includes SSP integration, VAST handling, and auction mechanics. You will define ad formats, support direct and programmatic sales, and collaborate with engineering to build scalable ad infrastructure. You'll also develop campaign tools, track KPIs, and drive improvements to boost revenue and user experience, ensuring compliance with privacy, trust, and brand safety standards. You will be responsible for launching and evolving core ad infrastructure, including SSP integrations, ad decisioning, campaign tooling, and revenue analytics. You will work closely with engineering, design, ad sales, and ad ops to build scalable and performant ad experiences for both advertisers and viewers.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Proven success building ad products or platforms
  • Experience with VAST, OpenRTB, SSP/DSP integrations
  • Strong technical fluency
  • Analytical mindset with a strong bias
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with streaming or creator-driven platforms
  • Familiarity with interactive, shoppable formats
  • Exposure to yield optimisation and auction tuning

Your role with us:
As a Senior Product Manager (KICK) you will be specifically responsible for defining and executing the roadmap for Kick’s advertising products. You’ll be responsible for launching and evolving core ad infrastructure, including SSP integrations, ad decisioning, campaign tooling, and revenue analytics

You’ll work closely with engineering, design, ad sales, and ad ops to build scalable and performant ad experiences for both advertisers and viewers.

You will have your finger on the pulse of the ad industry and lead our advertising innovation practices.

As we build a world-class ad platform from the ground up, we're looking for engineering leadership to help us execute at scale and speed.

What you will do: 

  • Own the product strategy and end-to-end roadmap for Kick’s advertising systems
  • Lead the integration and optimisation of SSPs, VAST tag handling, and auction mechanics
  • Define Kick ad formats and programmatic ad experiences
  • Partner with ad sales to direct sales and guaranteed buys  
  • Collaborate with engineering to deliver scalable infrastructure for ad serving, measurement, and reporting
  • Develop and iterate on campaign management tools for internal and external use
  • Define KPIs, measure success, and prioritise improvements to maximise revenue and user experience
  • Ensure alignment with privacy, trust & safety, and brand safety requirements

What you will bring: 

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with 3+ in advertising tech or monetisation platforms
  • Proven success building ad products or platforms (video, mobile, or CTV experience preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with VAST, OpenRTB, SSP/DSP integrations, or ad decisioning systems
  • Strong technical fluency; able to work closely with engineering and communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Analytical mindset with a strong bias toward action and impact
  • Excellent communication, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience working at or with a streaming or creator-driven platform
  • Familiarity with interactive, shoppable, or programmatic sponsorship formats
  • Exposure to yield optimisation and auction tuning
