The Senior/Lead Rigger designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots, maintains, and implements rigs for all aspects of VFX shows, supporting studio-wide and production project requirements for characters, vehicles, environments, and other elements. They are responsible for coordinating and scheduling task deliverables, balancing complex tasks, and automating workflows. The role involves overseeing and mentoring junior team members, working with the production team to create animation controls and qualities, testing and troubleshooting animation controls, building advanced characters, creatures, vehicles, and props in Maya, and contributing to the development of tools, rig-modules, workflow, and plugins for the Rigging department.
