Senior UX/UI Designer (World of Tanks Blitz)

Job Overview

Wargaming is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join the World of Tanks Blitz team. Powered by Unreal Engine 5 technology and proprietary tools, feature teams in World of Tanks Blitz follow agile, linear frameworks that prioritize delivering shippable features in the shortest iterations possible, enhancing the overall player experience at a rapid pace. You will join one of them.

What will you do?

• Conceptualize and refine UI solutions not only for gameplay but also for all in-game screens, menus and events.
• Configure UI elements directly in Unreal Engine (UMG, Blueprints).
• Create wireframes, user flows, logic trees, and interactive prototypes.
• Align with leads from art, game design, and development to set goals for the UX/UI team.
• Translate game ideas into reality while maximizing the strengths of mobile platforms.
• Optimize interfaces for mobile platforms and various screen resolutions.
• Maintain and update the UI style guide to ensure consistency across the product.
• Advocate for UI/UX improvements based on analytics, user behavior, and industry trends.

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in the video game industry, including at least 1 products shipped in a senior UX/UI designer role (and a strong portfolio to prove it)
• Cross-genre knowledge
• Passion for multiplayer shooter games
• Ability to deliver interactive prototypes
• Experience working with Unity, Unreal or similar multiplatform engines
• Experience in delivering games built for varied cultures, languages, and accessibility channels
• Ability to persuasively and clearly communicate to stakeholders on multiple levels
• A team player with the ability to adapt and share ideas with team members to find the best possible solution, open to give and to receive feedback from the team
• Strong sense of ownership over solutions
• Intermediate of higher level of English: enough to pass job interview, enough to participate in daily meetings and discussions with English-speaking colleagues

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience in leading direct reports, the ability to mentor and train less experienced UX/UI designers and inspire them to grow
• Intermediate or higher Russian language proficiency

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 5000-7300 monthly gross.
