The Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist will monitor and respond to players on social media channels, covering both acquisition and retention stages. They will work with the Team Leader to ensure timely responses and enhance the player experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring Sprinklr and Salesforce, managing escalations, adding tagging, and assisting in competition winner selection. The role requires excellent communication, social media understanding, and the ability to handle high volumes of player engagement. This position primarily operates remotely, with potential occasional travel to Metro Manila.
Must have:

  • 4-year college graduate (Marketing, Communications, or related)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
  • Ability to handle a large volume of player engagement
Good to have:
  • Experience using Salesforce and Sprinklr
  • Good interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledgeable with social media and community engagement trends
  • Hands-on experience in inbound marketing campaigns

Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team in Manila and are currently looking for a Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist to join the team.

The Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist will monitor and proactively respond to prospective and existing players across our range of Social Media channels. Your role covers players across both acquisition and retention life stages of the VGW customer journey. You will work closely with your Team Leader to ensure players are responded to and other tasks which enhance our player experience are met to high standards and within a timely manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively monitor Sprinklr for private and public messages across all relevant Social Media channels
  • Proactively monitor and manage Salesforce for ‘Big Check’ responses and follow-ups, plus ad hoc campaigns
  • Proactively monitor and manage for priority campaign responses and follow-ups, plus ad hoc campaigns
  • Manage escalations for social posts and priority campaigns, to & from Customer Service and Account Management teams
  • Manage escalations from social community to product/marketing teams when an issue arises
  • Adding relevant tagging procedure for specific comments
  • Assist in selection and remuneration of competition winners based on set criteria
  • Build relationship with key players in your community

What you will bring to the role:

  • A 4-year course college graduate (Marketing, Communications, or any business-related courses).
  • Must have at least 2 to 3 years of social media experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Sprinklr is a plus.
  • You have the ability to handle a large volume of player engagement, often juggling multiple tasks throughout the day.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • You must have good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Must be knowledgeable with both social media and community engagement trends in order to provide effective execution strategies.
  • You must have hands-on experience in maintaining momentum in inbound marketing campaigns and addressing both positive and negative feedback from reviews/comments.
  • You have great attention to detail and has the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels and say no when required.

We primarily operate in a remote work environment; however, we appreciate a flexible approach with regards to travel to Metro Manila if required on occasion. Any changes to our remote work arrangement will be communicated with ample notice.
